1. Acceptance of Terms

By using PalmMate ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PalmMate provides entertainment-based palm readings and compatibility assessments using:

On-device image classification (palm line patterns)
Eastern philosophy-inspired algorithms (Five Elements, Yin-Yang)
Birth date and name-based calculations

The Service is free to use and requires no registration.

3. Entertainment Only

All readings, scores, predictions, and compatibility assessments are for entertainment and self-reflection only. They are:

Not scientifically validated
Not medical, psychological, or health advice
Not financial or investment advice
Not legal advice
Not relationship counseling

You should not make important life decisions based on PalmMate readings.

4. No Guarantees

We make no guarantees about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of readings. Results may vary based on image quality, lighting, and other factors. The same input may occasionally produce different results.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Use the Service only for personal, non-commercial entertainment
Not upload illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
Not attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the Service
Not use automated systems to access the Service

6. Intellectual Property

PalmMate's design, code, and content are protected by intellectual property laws. You may share your personal results but may not copy or redistribute our Service.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service may include advertisements from Google AdSense and be hosted on Cloudflare Pages. These services have their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PalmMate and its creators shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to decisions made based on readings.

9. Modifications

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate jurisdiction.
